2011 is shaping up to be another huge year for the crew at Offroad Cartel. There is plenty of new tees and accessories coming off of the design teams desks - as well as new cars and drivers coming aboard with the Cartel Crew, racing in all forms of offroad motorsport. We will once again be be enjoying the dirt lifestyle that we are so passionate about! 

The team at Cartel are backing the DirtsprintZ crew once again in 2011 to run a dirtsports extravagansa at ProjectFMX in Central Queensland, as well as hitting the road in an effort to get to as many events as possible in 2011 - Including Tuff Truck, Finke Dezert Race, Winch Events up and down the East Coast and HOPEFULLY an event over in Western Australia to support our dirt loving western familia!

One Rock – One Dune – One Coopers Rally at a time!

The Cartel Crew turned up ready to race again to the final round of the Coopers Rally Series held at LCMP 21/22 August 2010. With some minor tweaks to the suspension of the Bumble Bee, Shawn Swaffield and Adrian Turner had again double nominated in the Deisel Class of the series. Having competed in all 4 rounds it was going down to the wire with Swaffield going into the round with a small points lead over Turner. With a great display of driving prowess and consistancy the boys turned over a number of blistering laps, placing at the pointy end of the field – not just in class, but overall as well!

With crowds cheering as the final lap of the gymkana loop pleased spectators thirst for excitement, the Bee was pushed well beyond the relms of sanity and Shawn Swaffield was crowned the victor in a hotly contested class and 2nd overall! Adrian Turner drove very cleanly and ended up a impressive 2nd in Deisel class in the series – meaning the Bumble Bee had just run and won 1st and 2nd fastest deisel!

Congrats to both Shawn Swaffield and Adrian Turner for there brilliant performances through out the series! Dirtsports Domination from the 4700 Ballers!

Once again Shawn Swaffield has run a Cartel Masterclass in Domination!

The course date was 21 August 2010 and the location was the Super Rally X track at LCMP. Shawn drove his now infamous “Bumble Bee” to an outstanding 1st in Deisel Class in the Super Rally X series. But just to really dish out the lesson he pushed the Bee well beyond and took OUTRIGHT honours against a truely impressive lineup of twin turbo V8 patrols and turbo six race weapons! After a hard fought year with a tough range of conditions testing all competitors mettle, it is impressive to see the OG Cartel Crew member stand atop the podium at LCMP in his Turbo Deisel GQ Nissan 4.2. A huge thanks must go to the LCMP team that put this great event on and the Sponsors of the event ARB and All Four X Four Parts.
